I don’t typically order pad Thai for dinner, but last week I had a craving for it, and let me tell you…It was so yum! 😋 I am a firm believer that all foods have a place in a healthy balanced diet (even take-out pad Thai).
It’s time to ditch the diet! 👊🏼 Fad diets often restrict many foods/ food groups, making them hard to in the long-term. Depriving yourself of your favourite restaurant meals may be counterintuitive as this can cause you to overindulge or binge on these foods. Being overly restrictive with your diet can also take all the pleasure out of eating. Indulging in an occasional take-out meal or junk food is completely okay and considered a normal part of balanced eating.
At the end of the day, eating healthy is not an all-or-nothing approach. It’s time to kick this vicious cycle and remember that there is a middle ground and that sometimes good enough IS good enough! 🙌🏼
